| David Barnard, Executive Director of South African NGO Network (SANGONeT) will take part in a 250km footrace across the hottest desert in the world for seven days.
David takes part in this extreme human challenge to raise money and awareness of the work of four South African NGOs at the forefront of development and community work in South Africa, including SCORE, Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT), Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) and Starfish Greathearts Foundation.

| | Brian Kerby, former MD of adidas South Africa competed in the 2010 IRONMAN triathlon to raise funds the building of a multi-puropose sports facility in Hhoyi, in Mpumalanga, as reward for gaining first place at the 2010 Cup of Heroes.
This year Brian aims to raise R80,000 to reward the winning team at the 2011 Cup of Heroes with the opportunity to attend an environmental awareness and leadership camp, a unique opportunity for the team to experience life skills learning in the wilderness.

These included: The SCORE Cup, our own mini-World Cup event; community football events for Dutch supporters from Orange Camping; big screen private viewing areas in rural communities and guided VIP visits to community projects.
